All change at Earlier this month Tony from White Night pulled the shutter down on White Night in Soi VC Hotel for the last time! The last time for him and Ken that is. Yes after nearly 10 years Tony has decided to hang up his pinafore and "retire", but knowing Tony there will always be some interest to keep him busy The restaurant has been a firm favourite of visitors and ex-pats alike offering a mix of European and Thai food buffet style. White Night has now been taken over by Mike of Bar La Cage which is right next door to the restaurant. "I am very proud indeed to be taking over such a well established eatery and have every intention of keeping the very successful buffet format as well as introducing some new ideas of my own," says Mike. "The Restaurant and the Bar will remain two separate operations with very different atmospheres. However, the restaurant will benefit from a much bigger drinks menu and the bar will soon have a comprehensive hot and cold bar snacks selection." Mike added that he plans to install air conditioning at White Night and also open earlier plus he intends to offer a daily set menu as an alternative to the buffet.
