Handbag Heroines

On Monday November 30, 2009 three bars in Boyz Town held "handbag auctions" to raise money for PGF Charities.

During the evening Oscars, Copa Showbar and Boyz Boyz Boyz each offered for sale three handbags, each containing a prize. In each of the bars one of the bags contained a gold ring valued at 15,000 Baht and the others a bottle of alcohol or voucher.

Customers then "bid blind" for a handbag unaware what prize each bag contained until all three had been sold. Then the bags were opened and the contents revealed.

The three auctions raised 51,000 Baht.

Boyz Town Pride Street Party

Wednesday December 2, 2009 saw the grand finale of this year's Pattaya Gay Festival with the Boyz Town Pride Street Party.

Over 400 people were in the Soi to witness one of Boyz Town's best ever street parties.

Entertainers Miss Jason and Jo Francis flew in, literally for the day to appear at the party. Other entertainers included: Toi from Le Café Royale, Madame Jim and the Divas and Dudes from Boyz Boyz Boyz, The Copa Show Boys and the Dolly Sisters.

Volunteers from SWING visited the Street Party handing out red roses to guests.

A lucky draw was held with the top prize of a Honda motorcycle donated by "Dame Ruby" and a gold ring.

A fantastic cash donation of 100,000 Baht was received from
Mr Archie Dunlop. Add to this the money raised from the raffle and the entry tickets means that over 280,000 Baht was raised with more to come. (Final figure to be announced).

This means that over the last four days approximately
545,000 Baht was raised for the PGF Charities.
