Panorama/ PGF Pool
Competition 2008

August 13 and 14 saw the annual Panorama/PGF Pool Competition in Boyz Town.

Some 32 competitors took part in the Singles Competition with the chance to win 10,000 Baht and and 16 pairs took part in the Doubles Competition also with a first prize of 10,000 Baht.

As is customary at this event a Tombola was held with many prizes donated by local businesses and friends. Amongst the prizes was a half-baht gold chain.

The Tombola raised 50,000 Baht for the PGF Charities which Tim from Panorama presented to Jim Lumsden on behalf of the PGF.

Tim then went on to thank everybody that participated this year; all of the supporters, friends and customers who came along to watch and buy Tombola tickets; and the local businesses that sponsored the prizes.

The Pool Competition prizes were generously sponsored by:

1st Prize Baht 10,000 by Oscars.
Runner-up Singles
2nd Prize Baht 6,000 by Boyz Boyz Boyz.
Third Place Singles
3rd Prize Litre of Whisky by Poseidon Hotel.
Fourth Place Singles
4th Prize Bottle of Whisky by 87 Print.
Winners Doubles
1st Prize Baht 10,000 by Copa Showbar.
Runners-up Doubles
2nd Prize Baht 6,000 by an anonymous supporter.
Third Place Doubles
3rd Prize Litre of Whisky by Funny Boys.
Fourth Place Doubles
4th Prize Bottle of Whisky by 87 Print.
