Jing Jai Open Day
From www.gayaffairspattaya.com

An open day was held at Baan Jing Jai on Saturday 21 February 2009 to celebrate commencement of the work on a new kitchen and the presentation of an industrial oven, industrial mixer and a safe trampoline for the children to enjoy.

Funds for the kitchen which will cost 100,000 baht were partly raised by Dutch Baritone Ronald Willemsen at a series of recent Concerts in Pattaya principally at Le Café Royale, Pattayaland Soi 3 and Ozz Bar and Question Mark Bar in Jomtien. Also contributing to the kitchen costs were Maisie Trollette, Miss Jason, Jo Francis and Miss Sparkle from Brighton England.

The oven and safe trampoline were donated by Gary and Michael from Rich Bitch Showbar in Benidorm and the 77,000 baht funds for this were collected at the funeral of their friend and performer Andrew (Lulla Belle) who so tragically died recently.

The cost of the open day was sponsored by Frank from Holland and guests and the 58 children enjoyed a pig roast and home made cakes and cookies from the new oven whilst the fun trampoline proved a great hit.

The day was organised by Thais4Life an independent charity who also operate 'probably one of the best second hand book shop's in Pattaya' on Soi Yensabai Condo and are great supporters and benefactors of Jing Jai.
