Over the next two months six million baht is to be spent totally refurbishing what was Throb/Splash, to create "The Copa Showbar".

Glen from Throb has told us that the refurbishing will include: "A brand new and much larger swim tank, state of the art sound and lighting, a new stage, so no more looking at the dancers' backs for half of the show.

"The old seating arrangements are going with customers packed in like sardines, there will be big and comfortable sofas, with proper tables, where you can stretch out and relax we have new area's where customers can be entertained by our go-go dancers.

"For those who enjoy a drink at the bar, we are installing a long bar area, with comfy seating and bar stalls, and some podiums for our boys to dance on. An all new air con system is going in to keep customers comfortable, and a completely new terrace bar and seating area has been installed."

'But will the cost of drinks rise?' I hear you ask!

"No expense has been spared to ensure our customers have an enjoyable evening. With the new design, 100% of our customers can see 100% of our shows, with no increase in drink prices," added Glen.
