Oscar the Thais4Life Bear:
South American Odyssey Cruise update
As reported in December Oscar the
Thais4Life Teddy Bear, who left Pattaya in November, set sail from
Southampton, England on the P&O Cruise Ship Artemis on the South
American Odyssey Cruise.
Oscar has now found time to send back
some pictures of his travels.
The cruise lasts for 84 nights and
visits 35 ports in 22 countries including: Tenerife, St Maarten, Dominica, Santarem, Parintins, Manaus,
Recife, Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Puerto Madryn,
Port Stanley, Half Moon Island, Hope Bay, Deception Island, Cape Horn,
Ushuaia, Beagle Channel, Punta Arenas, Amalia Glacier, PIO X Glacier,
Puerto Montt, Valparaiso, Coquimbo, Arica, Callao, Manta, Panama Canal,
Limon, Roatan, Belize, Cozumel, Key West, Port Everglades, Nassau,
Madeira,
Oscar is scheduled to return to Southampton on March 10 before
embarking on his next adventure.
Up until January 17 Oscar has sailed a
total of 10,745 nautical miles in his quest to become the most travelled
teddy bear ever.
Oscar, who was kindly donated by Martin
from Bristol, left Oscars in Boyz Town on November 3, 2007.
