The end of an era at Le Café Royale: "a celebration of life" for Robbie Ruiter On Friday May 9 2008, friends and colleagues of the late Robbie Ruiter, who passed away in Amsterdam recently, gathered at Le Café Royale to pay their respects and to remember a fine man. Many people attended and some spoke publicly of their affection for Robbie plus there were a large number of floral tributes. There is also a book of condolence for people to sign that will be sent to Robbie's family in Holland. Robbie had been involved with Le Café since the beginning along with the late Ian. He will be sadly missed. |
