Grand Variety Evening at Oscars
to benefit the Camillian Centre

Friday August 17, 2007, it was standing room only at Oscars on Boyz Town.

The reason being is that a Grand Variety Evening was held to raise money for the Camillian Centre in Rayong, which helps young children with HIV.

A lucky draw was held with prizes including: beer, cuddly toys, champagne, wine, restaurant/bar vouchers, bottles of spirits, DVD player and a music centre all donated by local business and customers.

The audience were treated to performances by Dolly John, Art, with live acts Johnny Parish, Geoff Vernon and super star Jordan Rivers topping the bill. The whole proceedings were compared by Norman Vernon.

This raised 60,000 baht for the Camillian Centre. The money is going towards the cost of building a swimming pool at the centre in Rayong.

Before the show started Tim, from Panorama, presented PGF Chairman Richard with 50,000 baht which was raised during the Panorama Pool Competition 2007.
